The Ulta Beauty Free Birthday Gift Issue
What was the issue
Okay so I am a member at Ulta, but I don't buy anything myself because someone else buys me stuff with their membership. I have never recieved emails for promotions from Ulta. This means I never got my birthday email regarding my free gift. Online it says no purchase needed to get the gift you just need to sign up and be signed up for emails. This ending with me emailing Ulta Service.
What we emailed
They said I needed to make a purchase to be able to get the gift. I pointed out that it says otherwise online and that if what they are telling me is the opposite of what it says online then they need to change it. They ended up giving me a code to give to give to the cashier to get my free gift.
Overall
I don't like Ulta. Their service is okay but they need to update their website to what they actually want their company to be. I didn't like this experience at all.
