How I Describe My Style
I describe my style as a rock n roll hippie. I love oversized band tees or just oversized tees with fun designs paired with fitted jean shorts or ripped jeans. I love my denim jacket that has a bunch of band pins on it. I also drew on my denim jacket to express who I am. I drew my own original peices on it that I designed myself. I drew my own artwork because I like to show who I am and show my creativity to whomever wants to ask about my jacket. I have been asked by my friends and people from school about the buttons and the artwork on my jacket. Enough of the jacket that is my life. I Like to wear black ankle booties with ripped jeans, fitted jean shorts, or a cute black skirt. I also am in love with flannels! Flannels literally go with almost everything. I had a pretty big flannel collection, but I gave some to my sister because she likes flannels too. My favorite flannel of mine is my blue and off white flannel that I got thrifting, which is one of my favorite things to do. I have a red flannel, another blue flannel, and a grey flannel. I like to wear high waisted jeans and a crop top with a flannel over or tied around my waist or I wear them around my waist when my shorts are a little too cheeky. Now that is all about the rock n roll portion of my style. My hippie side is totally rad thopugh. I have three pairs of flare jeans and two pair of baggy or flare cotton material pants with cool prints. I have too many white flowy or off the shoulder peasant tops and some other colored peasant tops. I have these heels that I like to wear with my jeans that are like a wooden heel with a brown strap. Honestly I think the most hippie or earthy thing I do is take off my flip flops and walk around bare foot no matter where I am. Thats that about my style.
My Style Icons
My style icons are Maddi Bragg, Fatherkels, Cartia Mallan, Selena Gomez, Sammy Robinson, Alisha Marie, and Rosie Cheeks and Freckles. I mostly love the style of Maddi Bragg, Fatherkels, Cartia Mallan, and Sammy Robinson. Maddi and Kels represent my rock n roll kinda vibe while Cartia and Sammy represent my hippie vibe.
How I Found My Style
I went through so many phases to find my style. I literally just searched fashion on tumblr and found looks and people who I really liked. I went on youtube to find style videos and found people who had a great style to me. There are so many on people on youtube who dress like Maddi Bragg but she is the person I followed first so she's my main. I kinda liked the boho and hippie style and that's when I found Cartia and through Cartia I found Sammy. People who are like others should never dress to similar that it's repetitive, for example, the way Maddi dressed is how all her friends dress (except Meghan Hughes). Cartia and Sammy are good friends, but different styles yet they like each others styles. I love when people can look at an outfit and do their own take on it, which is what I do all the time. For example, I love Cartia's style but I don't want to completely copy it, so I take inspiration by it and make a few tweaks and add my own personal flare to it and make my own. And that is how I found my own personal style.
